Scotland

Well what a blast the last 2 weeks were. Left Norwich on the 5th August it was a sunny day......rode all the way to Witton Park...nr Scotch Corner.....camped at Witton Park camp site(castle).....left Monday the 6th August...made good progress other than Steve's bike decided it had enough an the battery started to boil....(turned out the rectefier broke)..... an reached Straigton in Scotland,where Steve was going round a roundabout and got knocked off....all good not much damage to him or the bike.....new gear lever needed an new indicator light......but had to go buy some jump leads so could start bike. Eventually reached Edinburgh Mortonhall camp site...it was lovely......stayed there till the 9th August an left to ride to Inverness.........more to follow

Tuesday

Well its a lovely day......i have greenday playing in the back ground...an all is well with the world!!. Today i recieved card number 9(debit card) that i ordered on the 7th July!!!!! in the mean time i cancelled card number 9,as i was concerned about the amount of time it was taking.....i ordered another card number 10!!!!! i go away on the 5th August to scotland for 2 weeks.....whats the odds of the card appearing before then!!!! the bank blamed the strike(postal) i find that quiet amusing as i have been recieving lots of post. When i went in to my bank the very nice lady said it was because of the printers the machine went wrong!!!! go figure!!! any way,look a blog without mentioning clothes or largeness!!!!oopppsss sorry....hee hee

Today i went shopping...not for clothes for a new tent. The last one we had leaked as we found out when we went camping.....its a vango 450,jade colour....new tent kodos for me. we then went to asda...brought some food and a new top. pandora gave me a link to a shoe site, one of my friends thinks im a reincarnation of
EMELDER MARCHOS, who was married to a dictator,an was supposed to have so many shoes,well being a larger person finding clothes is tough going. when i go shopping at least i know that shoes will fit,handbags and accsesorys will be easy to buy,which is why my wardrobe consisits of shoes,handbags and the odd bit of jewellary lol.

Friday

What a day......went shopping for clothes...what a nightmare.....most of the shops have clothes that fit tiny women....so being of the larger type i have problems finding clothes that are stylish. i really don't wanna look like my granny!!!!. Anyway i did find a top thanks to my m8. the shops that do clothes for bigger women double there price,so a top or dress that u would pay say £20 for in a skinny shop u have to pay £30. whats the deal with that. just cause u have a few extra pounds shouldn't mean u pay lots of extra dosh.

Thursday

What a day...it rained lots,my bike wouldn't start and i got wet.

Battery was flat due to the fact i left my heated hand grips on the bars of my bike on..so drained battery. What a day.
